Four places to eat and drink

Aroma is our fine-dining restaurant for non-vegetarian food, where the master chef's tandoor and Indian dishes sit alongside continental and oriental plates. Saffron serves vegetarian multi-cuisine in a restaurant of its own. Seasons, the coffee shop, serves portioned delicacies that change with the seasons, and Mercury, the lounge bar, pours from a well-stocked bar with a warm view of the city.

On the Grand Trunk Road

30, G.T. Road, Ushagram, Asansol

The Grand Trunk Road is one of Asia's oldest and longest roads, running from Bangladesh through India and Pakistan to Afghanistan. Its route is far older, but it was rebuilt under Sher Shah Suri in the 16th century, who also built rest houses for travellers along the way. The hotel's address, 30, G.T. Road, lies on the stretch that runs through Asansol.
